Privacy Policy — PigPR

Last updated: September 7, 2026

What this covers

This policy explains what PigPR ("we", "us") collects when you use pigpr.com, the PigPR console, and our free tools — and what we do with it. It's written in plain English on purpose. Questions: hello@pigpr.com.

What we collect

  • Account information — name, email, agency/company details, and password (stored hashed) when you sign up.
  • Monitoring configuration — the client names, keywords, domains and locations you ask us to track.
  • Monitored public web data — reviews, news mentions, rankings, backlinks, AI answers and similar public information we gather about the businesses you monitor. This is data about public web content, not about private individuals.
  • Usage & analytics data — pages viewed, feature usage, device/browser metadata, and approximate region, used to operate and improve the service.
  • Free-tool inputs — the domains, keywords, URLs and page names you enter into our free tools. Checks are rate-limited per visitor (by IP) and results may be cached for the day.

Third-party processors

We run on a small number of infrastructure and data providers, each processing only what's needed:

  • DataForSEO — search, keyword, backlink and local-pack data.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, CDN and security for the marketing site.
  • Railway — application hosting for the console and API.
  • TiDB Cloud — database hosting.
  • LLM providers (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Perplexity, Alibaba) — to check what AI answers say about monitored brands. Prompts contain brand names and monitoring queries, not your personal data.

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Cookies

We use a small set of cookies: an authentication session cookie (keeps you signed in to the console), preference storage (such as language), and analytics cookies that measure aggregate site usage. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

How long we keep data

Account and monitoring data is kept while your account is active. Monitoring history (mentions, rankings, AI answers) is retained so trend reports work, and is deleted with your account. Free-tool lookups are cached for the day, then discarded. Backups rotate out on a normal infrastructure cycle.

Your rights

  • Access or export your data on request.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete your account and associated data — email us and we do it, no retention games.

If you're in the EU/EEA or another region with specific privacy rights (access, erasure, portability, objection), those rights apply and we honor them on the same channel.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS everywhere), passwords are hashed, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfect; if we ever have a breach that affects you, we'll tell you promptly.

Contact & changes

Privacy questions, export or deletion requests: hello@pigpr.com. If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email. Governing law: State of New Mexico, USA.
